FGC Men’s Basketball triumphs over Santa Fe College

Gainesville, Fla – In a clash between rivals, Florida Gateway College emerged victorious over the Santa Fe Saints last night at Santa Fe College with a final score of 84-77, handing the Saints their first loss of the season.

The game was closely contested from tip-off to final buzzer, with the Wolves leading by a slim margin of 36-35 at halftime.

Leading the charge for FGC was Antewan Webber, who delivered an impressive 24 points for the Wolves, proving to be a constant offensive threat throughout the game. Oakley Lewis dominated the boards with 10 rebounds.

A standout player on both offense and defense was Amayoa'ah Phillips, who notched 14 points and showcased his defensive skills with four key steals, playing a pivotal role in securing the victory for FGC.

Looking ahead, Florida Gateway College is set to host Coastal Alabama – North at 2 p.m. in the Howard Center this Saturday, November 18. Fans are encouraged to come out and support the Timberwolves as they continue what promises to be a thrilling season.
